    Hi Dave,
Welcome to the thread, hopefully you will find lots more coupons with us than those awful magazine mocs.

Mrs Unhappy Team Leader was absolutely right!!

Please, for the sake of the coupon policy in your local - stop using those magazine mocs!!

I think it says clearly on the first post by PC, right beside these links, that you should ONLY use ONE if buying the magazine. Not several, and not more than once even over a whole month or two. For example, I used 2 single ones and never reprinted them, I know others have ignored them as well. Using more than one is asking for trouble.

Are you aware of the blocking of the OK magazine mocs by Tesco? Why do you think they did that, for a very high-selling title? It was because they were no longer being paid for the coupons because too many were being presented. How soon do you think the same is going to happen with these obscure magazine mocs? Dare I even ask, have you checked your Extra even stocks the titles - let alone assuming they actually will sell enough per month to cover your mocs use?

Please reconsider. There are plenty more coupons to collect, ones that will not be returned unpaid as these ones WILL. Don't be blinded by the fact these are higher-value coupons. You are causing a future huge problem in your store and before you know it you will be posting to bemoan that your Store has decided no internet mocs...

    Sorry to rant. :o[/QUOte
I too fear that these could spell the end of the generous coupon policy- especially at my fab store. Today as I parked my car and walked around it folding in the mirrors and pushing the ariel down (yes it very old) I
overheard some conversation. There was a car with a middle aged lady driver, she handed the 3 teenage passengers some coupons each.
The conversation went along the lines of 'it'll be ok if we go to a different till'

I wasn't following them but I did walk into the store behind them. I always walk along the front of the checkouts to see whos serving. By the time I had got to the other end, they all appeared on my right from an isle. They each had a computer game. They all went to the same queue. It wasn't hard to see that they each had a pile of the magazine mocs.

If i was a betting woman I'd give this store a month. I know other posters on here go there too.

As if that wasn't bad enough, a male sa said today that he only prints the magazine coupons as the others 'aren't worth the ink'

I sincerley hope they get blocked at the tills before they expire- they are such a threat to the policy as a whole.

    xx

  • hi guys i just want to ask, do any of you guys use the vouchers to buy one item (say a dvd) and end up paying <£1 for it or is it best not to?? is it best putting it on with your shopping?

thanks, not used them before so i'm not sure what you use it on.
  • I have never purchased a single item on its own, always at least five things and my store usually allows 50% off with MOCs although sometimes a little more depending on the SA.

My store stopped taking these a couple of weeks ago as too many were being used. A friendly SA told me about it even though I wasn't using any. I think that was a really responsible reaction by my store manager. I've only used one and checked the store had that mag in stock when I used it, I'd printed others but I've not bothered with them - they're probably somewhere in my huge filing pile and will go straight to the bin. I wish more stores would put a full block on them as I'd love Tesco's to keep their moc policy up an running for a long time to come.

    Evening all,

I have just printed a few of the free C&G Milk coupons but have noticed in the bottom lefthand corner there is a number (0070/17301). Does anyone know if this is a unique number to the person printing or do all of the coupons have the same number? If it is unique then I don't want to use more than one. Can anyone help please?

Me too ;) Congratulations to your son on his results, I am sure you are a very proud mummy, I hope you had a very tasty buffet :D xx
  • Not sure if my next post will come across as moc abuse?

Sometimes I wander around tesco wondering what to buy with my mocs?
I have stock piles of washing tablets, washing powder, tinned stuff, loo roll etc.....
Then got duracel batteries, stuff for the car, printer paper, cheap dvds........
Then some xmas gifts for DS (7) mostly ben ten and transformers.
Then small xmas gifts for other people, eg posh wine, boxes chocs
Then got extra toys for our local radio station xmas appeal 'help a signal child'
Then dog food for the local dogs home appeal.

Although I don't really need to go I enjoy it so much............its sort of like my hobby. I will need my loft re-enforcing at this rate.

I have a daughter (13) who is pleading for a phone for xmas, its £89!! Tesco dont even sell it :0(

Any ideas for stocking fillers for her?

    xx
