  • I've bought a few copies of the Daily Star, and am hoping to be able to use the conditional £5 off £30 later on.

But does anyone know if the other 2 vouchers in today's Star can all be used as "cash" (ie without buying the product) - 30p off Daily Express and £1 off OK Magazine ?

    thank you

30p Express is fine but OK is blocked a T's...j
Just leaving now and will check to see if I can use £5 Lidl and F/Foods for same shop, or in fact whether T's are taking it this time around

Right going to sound stupid here cos this is something I should know by know, but I don't often do the newspaper mocs and if I do I usually only get a few so never have multiple conditional spends etc to combine so never really taken note on how it works.

So say I had a Lidl £5 conditional spend (spend £30) and also a Tesco £5 off when spend £20 on clothing (from Sunday Mail) am I right in thinking I only have to spend a total of £30 to use both coupons and not £50?

But if I had the £5 Lidl conditional spend and say a Sainsbury's conditional spend (also spend £30) then I would have to spend a total of £60 to use both???????
    :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:
Boy do I get a bit confused by the newspaper mocs and how some work before bogofs etc and some don't - hence I really don't make the most of these.

p.s I know last time I asked for some advice with coupons and somebody kindly gave me some advice, it caused some problems for the person who gave me the advice. I hope this type of question isn't a problem, but if it is - please let me know.

At my Tesco's it depends on the SA. They should work but if the SA won't put them through you've had it. I'm lucky my staff are really good.

Use the other store coupons first, since the daily mail will scan afterwards and not be questioned;)
Different SAs will have different opinions, but I would say to only expect ONE of the Lidl/Sainsbury to be accepted unless spending £60...you never know....you may get lucky;)

I will sneak a peek at The Star and see if the conditional spend bit is any good to me.
    Happy Birthday!!!!

Thanks both of you :T:T- I don't actually have any Sainsbury's conditional spend coupons (just in case anyone was wondering where I had got any from lol!) it was just for an example, so that I could try and get my head round conditional spends etc.

Haven't been to Mr T's since OH was trouted the other night but planning trip today hopefully (suffering with a really bad back at the moment - ouch!)
But on the upside postie been this morning with a £5 gift card for Mr T's that customer services sent me cos couldn't use a Lidl moc whilst up in Yorkshire, and I have been sent an email with my name on that refers to my store stating that I shouldn't receive any more problems with coupons - so printing copy off to take with us. I'm never in the best of moods when I am in a lot of pain so really hope that we don't get trouted today.

Good afternoon folks!! Before I start to catch-up reading what's been happening since yesterday morning, I just want to share with you my very successful shopping trip yesterday!! I know I shouldn't but I'm blowing my own horn and praising myself big time as yesterday my daughter and I did a 4 store run but we did 5 shops each as one store allows you to shop twice a day with coupons. I ended up with £177.38 worth of groceries, mobile top-up, dishes and clothes for, wait for it, £1.21!!!!!:j:j:j:j:j:j Woooo-hoooooo!!!!!:j:j:j:j:j:T:T:T:T
Murphy knows me too well and sticks to me like glue!
