Yeah, sorry don't think my post was very clear. I meant will I still receive the 25 extra points with my usual shop even if £1 is not spent on bread, the same way that you can recieve 20p off your shop with a 20p off hovis bread coupon, even when the item isn't bought?

    Thanks,
    Debz
If you are asking 'can I use a 25 points for £1 spend on bread? , then the answer is not unless you purchase £1's worth of bread..to get the points you have to buy the product...you have to have your card swiped first then it will recognise your card number and allocate the points, then they will appear at the end of your receipt.

Right I think I have found a coupon now.
Nothing to get too excited about cos I think you do have to buy the product with this one cos it is a buy one get one free one for Rustlers  Please correct me if I am wrong on this. But it also has a free entry ticket to Thorpe Park with it for 1 person (providing 1 person buys a full price ticket).

Great find :T:T It has a 000 barcode, so you have to buy, but still great if buying one anyway, so well done and thanks :T:T:beer:
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Thought I'd just found my 1st coupon - got all excited cos it was a £1 pdf one and don't think it had been on here - only to notice it expired on the 5th August:mad: oh well keep trying

Can you post the link anyway? I know it's out of date but some times knowing it's there and trying various search patterns to find it yourself can sometimes lead to other finds..... (IYSWIM)

As has already been said, you have to buy whatever product is on these ones. But with some of them you don't have to buy the exact product. For example you might get one that is save £1 or extra 25 points when you buy pampers nappies. These will also scan on Tesco nappies and pull ups (I assume on any other brand as well). I don't know if there is a list anywhere with any others that will scan like that (would be useful if there is). Can't believe how many of these I threw away before I found this out.

I think the general census of opinion is only use these in T's if actually buying the mag!

They are such low popularity mags that T's will probably only sell a handful so it's not really worth the risk of affecting your local policy

  • can someone help me pllsssssssssss got seriously trouted today...went to my local store and purchased 31.50 worth of stuff on the self serve till and used £10 worht of coupons and paid £21.50 on my debit card...when i scanned one item it came through as £13.50 instead of £3.50 as i thought i asked the guy on hte till to take it off again and he was a bit old and doddery and cudnt figure out how to get it back off so as there was a queue i said no worries will take it bak to cs on my way out and get a refund....upon gettin to cs they refused to give me a refund back on my debit card and wud instead only offer a gift card....i refused this as i paid with my debit card expected to get it refunded that way called cs when i got home and basically they are gave me a load of rubbish about the policy re coupons, when i have a letter in my hand from the store regarding the correct national policy lol just wondering if there was anything i could do as i only bought the product as a favour to the guy on the checkout to save him having to call someone else over when there was a long queue...have been onto various cs staff and they are basically refusing to budge...one even hung up on me...any advice wud be helpful thanks

Sorry if this has already been said - personally I think you should have had the money refunded back onto your card - however, from your post it is my understanding that you used £10 worth of coupons. I also understand that you were overcharged by £10 for that item. Looks to me as cs were simply arguing that the overcharge was covered by the amount of coupons used - thus a gift card would be the way to refund on coupon usage. Think this is wrong of them but there you go - thats Tesco for you and I work for them!!!

Sounds like your store/s have blocked it. Maybe they are getting more coupons than product being sold (that's the only thing i can think of).

Still no wiser as to why KOS moc didn't work yesterday, I've been in the same store today and it went through perfectly (this one was printed from the pdf but the bar code is the same number). Another 2 weeks use, thank goodness. Hope yours if fine tomorrow bullshot - enjoy the fishing.
