Tesco Free Wine.....kind of!!

Free wine.....well almost!!!


I have just spent £46.00 including delivery for 12 bottles of wine from tesco.com/wine and using a extra-1200 clubcard point code(for 12 bottles of wine) in addition to the 138points i got from the wine(triple points on right now so its 138 not 46) gives me 1338points which is £13.38pence in vouchers but when turned into deals its just over £53 in deal vouchers. And its good wine that was on special aswell. Martini Asti(well so i think!!) and Hardys.

If you buy 12 bottles of perry with del total £14.49 and use the codes from various site you can get 1200 points - there are two separate codes to use on twelve bottle orders

I'm still trying to understand the mysteries of Tesco's charging and voucher system.
I'll order wine, and strange discounts I never asked for pop up, but it won't let me use two offers at once. I'll give it a go again now there is a sale on and tripple points.
Don't think I can stomach Perry though!!

I heard that people had great problems getting the points for these kind of purchases - as they don't go on for like a month after you buy, there's no way of telling if you've actually got the points at the time. On another forum, when people phoned to complain about this, Tesco's asked them to send proof of their original code offer to check people weren't just getting it off the internet. What have others found? I would like to do these offers but have been put off by reading this info on forums.

Does anyone know if the wine points are shown on your online clubcard balance or are they seperate?

I have 2200 points due from wine purchases, yet nothing is shown on my online balance......do I need to get on the phone?

Yeah i would also like to know as i wouldnt have made te purchase if there wasent the pull of 1200 points there. It states that the triple points will not be added to Augusts statement and i know from the past that extra points usually show a couple of days after on your online clubcard details...and not on the receipt from the driver!! It accepted my online code when making the order and it states that i have used a voucher on my receipt. Hope its ok, if not in a couple of weeks ill phone and moan!!!
