    Hello Louly,

Well done for posting your SOA.
There will be some good people along soon to make detailed comments on it.

For the moment I would ask - Car Tax? Contents Insurance?

Start a spending diary TODAY to find out exactly where your money goes. That knowledge will give you power.

    Good Luck
There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.
  • HI and thanks

car tax i usually dont save for i usually just take it out of the monthly wages when its due...i have thought about getting those stamps - do they still exist??
also contents insurence and buildings are toghter for 10 ( got a good deal with sheilas wheels)

i will start a spending diary... i need to learn how to budget and manage a household properly i think that is a big factor in this porblem i have.... a little blinkered!

You need to add some more amounts into your SOA and then revisit the sums.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing

    hello again louly,

one way of managing your money is to total up all your bills that you are paying annually or quarterly such as TV licence, Car road tax, Car, Buildings and Contents insurance, Car maintenance, Holiday and Emergency funds, etc. that you show monthly in your SOA. Then open a savings account and pay in that amount monthly by standing order. Then when those bills come along you have the money for them.

RAS has made some good points why not redo your SOA and repost it.
    A SOA is ever changing.

    Good Luck
