Ground cinnamon, Ground nutmeg and minced garlic, What can i do with these??

Fry sliced onions until going soft and bit sticky. Add garlic. Add cinnamon, paprika, nutmeg, coriander and cumin (a pinch of each). If you have it, squirt tomato puree, maybe pepper puree/tiny tiny bit of harissa. Stir and tip in tin of tomatoes, whole or chopped. Mush the whole ones up. Add salt & pepper.
Leave bubbling away whilst you make tea.
Crack 2 - 3 eggs onto top of tomato mix - either as they are or lightly whisked (whichever you prefer). Cover with lid and potter around as it is on a very low heat.
When tea is ready, serve with warm crusty bread (Iranian Pide with sesame is lovely, but anything does really).
One of the nicest Sunday breakfasts around!I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Sorry to add this on to this post, but any ideas for garlic granules? I bought some as my sister has some which she uses in pasta, but mine seem to bit a lot finer (more powderey) and I really don't know what to try it with. It's been stinking my cupboard out for weeks now!Grocery challenge - Nov: £52/£100
