in Credit cards
Hi
I have finally been accepted back into mainstream credit with a flybe card (thanks to those on this forum who enlightened me on this beautiful piece of plastic).
My question is - I plan to pay off 2 credit cards (vanquis and capital one) as well as £200 cash for something. Is it possible to transfer the overall amount into my account from flybe card (and then pay cards) ? Or is it cheaper to do 2 balance transfers for the cards and draw out the remainder out seperately ?
Apologies if this is a stupid question. But its something I know nothing about.
Cheers

I don't think that Flybe CC allows you to do what they call "super balance transfer" which allows you to transfer some funds from your card to current account, only a few providers offer that option (MBNA one of them). So you will have to do 2 different BT from your vanquis & capital one card. Generally you can transfer up to 95% of your credit limit0

I've just tried to BT Vanquis and Cap1 to my Halifax card; Vanquis wouldn't allow it. Wonder why? 40% APR by any chance?:rolleyes:Halifax Ultimate Reward - £500 OD limit
Halifax CC - £4900 limit
Capital One Classic - £500 limit
Orange Phone - £20pcm
Jacamo - £900 limit
Vanquis - £1250 limit0
