What player are you trying to play it with (eg Windows Media Player)?
Try VLC media player.
Does it work in a 'domestic' dvd player? ie not a computer.....0 -
Yes we are trying to view it on Windows Media and no it doesnt work on a domestic dvd player, although my friend has the same problem it worked only on her PS3 gaming machine.
Excuse the ignorance, whats VLC Media Player??
With so many media players about like Windows Media, Quickplayer and Realplayer, goodness knows why they had to burn it on that format, we were told it may not work on a dvd player but definately on a pcAnd yes the lady in the avatar is me

It's a media player that comes with most of the codecs already installed, it will play DVDs and most audio and video files.achtunglady wrote: »Excuse the ignorance, whats VLC Media Player

Because then it almost certainly wouldn't play on a DVD player. The reason they chose that format is that it is the DVD video format. It just may be the disc itself is not readable on some DVD players if it's simply a DVD -R disc etc. But the DVD video (mpeg decoder) codec is not free and doesn't come by default with any media player. It'd may come preinstalled on some computers but not all. As has been suggested VLC is the only free media player as far as I'm aware that does include DVD playing capability."She is quite the oddball.
