ive found a site which showed a guide to putting a wireless card into your xbox click me0

you can get a wireless ethernet bridge which will allow you to connect to the xbox usign RJ45 connection but still be *somewhere else*.
Whacking a wifi card into the xbox I am sure demands some steady hands and good nerve

This is what I do and it works very well, particularly with XBox Media Center
