Was there a tangible item or service being offered for sale? If not, that would be one possible reason.

Heres the link to sky news - basically they were asking for money to pay for their wedding. In return you got a thank you letter, a photo and a 12 month update... something along those lines...

The photo which they showed on the eBay auction looked different, guess they looked younger? (taken at an earlier time)?

Cheeky sods- we're a young engaged couple who can't afford a wedding too- guess what we are selling on ebay? REAL STUFF. Y'know working for what we need (like food), not getting what we want (like getting married)

Photo of the big day and card on anniversary would violate pre-sale listing policy as items not available within 30 days since they are not getting married until February 27, 2010.
