can anyone advise me which company to choose to build a web site, there are so many, i would really like a free web builder site that i can upgrade if i am happy with the site.

Another cheap option is to use https://www.scriptlance.com, here you place your project and designers/developers bid on your project. You select someone to complete your project who comes in with a good price and good feedback and it is that simple. At the end of the project you feedback on them and they will feedback on you... a bit like eBay.
