True...........if you are going to go to the effort of lugging a camcorder around, and this is a big ONE, then its gotta be worth the effort!

Remember Camcorder's tend to be used for SPEACIAL occasions.

AND if its worth the effort, then paradoxically its worth capturing with a GOOD camcorder, which this JVC ain't.
This jvc is not worth the effort,of carring around, I'd prefer a good camera phone, its spontaneous, and can be carried everywhere.

A dedicated solid state Mpeg 4 recorder , may be better if price is an issue.

Flip-out LCDs are useless in most daylight conditions - gimmee a viewfinder any day.

You are only using it to get a general frame layout anyway, do you get many black eyes when you FALL OVER doing a moving shot...he he he!
