Ive been wanting to go thorpe park, and wondered i could check out ebay first. I see there are free tickets which sell for about £10 each, usually sold in bulks. It says free on the tickets, I wonder how those people got it? and if they will actually work?
Tickets can be used at other attraction as well such as chessington world of adventures, maddam tueseds etc etc,,.....has anyone from here bought any of these tickets from ebay?
Thanks!

Some of the free entry ones are just standard BOGOF that people have cut out of magazines and such.
Be careful buying them on ebay though as you cannot visably see what the expiration date is on them
I think the woolworths ones (green background) are legit as there a lot floating about0 -
thanks. I know about the BOGOFs, but there are ones that you dont need a paying adult of anything like that you just present the ticket and you get it, they also state that expiry dates are around june 2006, which is good for me. Just feeks weird to be getting tickets for so cheap, and the fact that it says 'FREE' on it.0

I have friends who have family who live near Alton Towers. They were given x amount of free tickets a year to apologise for all the inconvenience of living there and there was no names on the ticket so you could do what you wanted to with them.0

These people were possibly given the tickets as a result of being stuck on a ride that broke down, or if they visited the park on a day where a lot of attractions were unavailable.
I was given some last year when 10 minutes after the official opening, Rush (a new ride) had to close for the rest of the day.0 -
