Hi All,
Im going to Great Yarmouth tomorrow and need to find out the cheapest way to get from the Bedford/St Neots/Wellingborough to Great Yarmouth.
Cheapest I have found so far is on the national rail website (St Neots - Great Yarmouth) for £32.10
Can anyone beat that im over 18 so classed asa a adult.
it will need to be so i can go there and then come stright back so a return the same day will be needed.
If you find it cheaper can you post how you found it and where.
I need to leave as early as possible to get back before 5pm.

An off peak day return from Cambridge to Great Yarmouth by rail is £13.40
St Neots to Cambridge on the X5 bus is £5.90 day return. From Bedford it's £8.90

A £ or so to get to the station in Cambridge.
Given the long way round you have to go to get from St Neots to Great Yarmouth by rail I can't see it being any slower either0 -
Also an Anglia Day Rover ticket (which covers Cambridge to Great Yarmouth and back) is only 10p more and covers the bus:
Between Great Yarmouth station and the town centre/beach by any direct service operated by Anglian Coaches.
if that's any use
