Find a Good Reliable Builder

The builder we started with gave us a quote, then after the plans he increased it by £25000 and submitted an itemized not detailed quote. He set a section called preliminaries and overheads which he said that it is for skip hire, scaffolding insurance payments and also super vision. We feel he is not trust worthy at the moment although he sounded that at the beginning. He made architectural plans and submitted planning consent any advice on what to do
