Free Special Delivery Bags

Dont forget to pick up your free special delivery bag from the post office if you are post via special delivery.

reminding everyone about this info, since alot of you will be selling today because of the 15p listing.

I just got mine today, the main post office were clueless and wanted to charge me for it, so i told them to stuff it, and went to my local one, and picked up a few for free. Saved me a few pence in packaging. :j

happy selling!

The bit about the main post office being clueless is not strictly true, you can get two different types of special delivery envelopes one of which is prepaid to cover postage, so you have to pay for them at the time you pick them up then just hand them in to the post office once filled

You will tend to find that post offices will stock one or the other rather than both types of bag

The other thing to remember is that if you use these silver bags there is no "magical" padding to protect your goods. Some sellers seem to think there is.

I posted some tickets a few weeks ago, and I paid for special delivery. I read on here a while back that you get free packaging. So I asked if I could have a free envelope or grey packaging. But the woman just looked at me as if I was an idiot and said "the packaging is over there" and pointed towards a shelf of envelopes for sale at 90p each. I just bought one as I had to post the item.

Go to businesses like computer shops who get loads of bubble wrap and just throw it away. I got a bag full a while ago which I just finished.
