Damn....how long has this been going on for  , I've only seen it today and just completed the sixteen to get up to date. My head 'really' hurts now and my eyeballs feel like their embeded in the back of my skull.

Thanks to every one for the answers I couldn't get myself. :T

I now need a beer

I can't even get into the bloomin' competition, let alone answer questions!

I signed up with Google but I'm stuck in this loop - how do I get started (god I don't stand much chance, do I?!)

    :p

I've found that the puzzles have been fairly ok so far - with a little bit of google and forum help!

But......... I must be missing the point completely when it comes to the 'Restoration Challenge' puzzle - the one where you pair up splotches of paint to reveal some text with the question. I had problems with the first one but Day 14 (I'm catching up after the w/end) has really stumped me!!

Am I supposed to pair them up in a particular order? Is it like the game of Solitaire where you can 'jump' over other pairs? I keep getting a message to say that there are not enough pairs remaining. When I do pair them up they never look like a matching pair anyway?

Just what am I doing wrong?!

:rotfl: probably the same as me!

I just randomly move them, get the same error mesage as you and then after about 40 attempts..it seems to work!

The only one I really enjoy is the picture hanging. I am dreadful at Soduko (or whatever it's called) so am patiently waiting for some kind soul to paste a screen shot of the correct formation ;)

    Thanks IClaudius,

When I saw that someone had replied I was delighted! I thought there would be a simple mathematical solution that I could just breeze through with! I'm still going with this one - I must be up to 100 attempts by now. Methinks there is a little piece of my brain missing - I have no clue!

    Oh, my!

They must have felt sorry for me! I've just cracked it - unfortunately I have no idea how I succeeded so I can't use the same system for the next darned 'Restoration Challenge'. What's wrong with a dash of turps anyway!

    Onwards and upwards!
