Scruples, it's a bit of a mess but when there's cash involved and code sharing i'm not that surprised that it's happened.

When we are sharing our codes we are all under the impression that it's a 50/50 split so to pass your codes on and then suggest a third share in it is unfair imo but I can see how the temptation is there when there's big money at stake. I suppose in this instance all three of you were involved in the win, you with your code, the person who had your code and passed it on and the winner. Take any one of those away and none of you would be getting anything.

In my opinion unless people agree to do differently and agree upfront, that the passing on of codes other than directly from the code holder themselves should not be done.

    no idea :o

Seems strange that they haven't said who it is  I would, at the very least want to know that. Maybe they haven't told the person they are a third party

ok just to throw more water into the mix while I nip to the post office for envelopes lol

were talking the biggy here .. 1k *gulps*

(incidentally I had made my decisions before I posted on here and had messaged her so I'm just seeing what everyone else would do)

1k is alot to split between 2 ppl but passing other ppl codes on to a 3rd party is out of order. Then if not cheeky enough she wants a 3way split? Not all threesomes are ideal ;)

It's your call and £1000 is nothing to be sniffed at.

Anyways i'm out today so another early end of entering codes :D

  • Regarding the split code dilemma - can the other poster prove there actually IS a third party?

Scruples, massive excitement in my house earlier this morning too, still trying to calm down,:j and I wrote a reply an hour ago and didn't post it,:o

but like everyone else says, it should be split 50/50 and if the other winner wants to share ,their share, then ok, but your code won 1k, you should get £500,
and like pigtails I enter some codes for my Mum but would never dream of asking for a 3 way split, bit cheeky imo
    I AM WHAT I AM ;)

  • Just won £50 all by myself , whooo-hoooooo.

I thought this also, prob someone entering for their OH or family member and seeing if they can screw scruples the easy way

I enter on behalf of my OH also, as different addresses, but you wouldn't dream of asking for a 3-way split would you!

perhaps the person who she initially sent the code to needs to require their own scruples
