I take it no-one has had cheques today? This is getting ridiculous, I am ringing if nothing received tomorrow.

I had shares with quite a few people, some in my name and some in theirs. I have paid all of my sharers even though I haven't had cheques for them all.

There are 2 exceptions; that is where I won with the sharer's code and the sharer won with mine. With one sharer, they offset the amount I owed them against what they owed me (as theirs was a bigger win), the other sharer and I both won £50 so will just keep our own cheques.

I hope everyone gets what is due to them and would like to thank all the honest people who have shared wins.

Okay, what I am about to say will not make me very popular but this thread is making me feel more and more uncomfortable.
It is almost becoming a witch-hunt with people pming anothers name about saying he/she is refusing to pay out.

Has this person actually said they won't pay out?
From what I've read so far the answer is no.

I agree they are wrong not to answer pms but there could be a whole host of reasons for that - anything could be happening in their personal life.

I can understand your concerns I really can, and I don't know what to suggest to rectify this but if the reason for their lack of communication is genuine do you think they will want to share after their name has been dragged through the mud?

Come on people, this was such a lovely thread - let's try not to jump to conclusions, they may have sent off the wrapper late or are waiting on the cheque for all we know.

IF they have said they won't share then please disregard this post, as they should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

I just wanted to say everyone I have had a share with so far has been fantastic and 100% trustworthy, I would not hesitate to swap with them again in another comp etc.

I have a few cheques to come and as soon as they arrive I will pm the peeps straight away.

I understand what you're saying. This is from what i know: This person contacted jodester and told her that the cheque came and whether she'd like the share by paypal or cheque. This person then never replied back to any of her pms even though they were posting on other parts of the forum. If i had issues in my personal life, i would not be on this forum at all. Granted everyone is different, the least that person could do though is pm the people acknowledging that they've received the pm's. 3 weeks waiting around for a pm whilst you're posting on other parts of the forum is a bit too much don't you think?

I agree though. This thread was so lovely and i'd hate for it to be spoiled. And yeh i guess we should all get down to the bottom of it and at least find out why this person hasn't paid yet before labelling them.

How many people have you shared wins with that are now not paying out? Perhaps you would feel differently if it was happening to you. If you read my earlier post I advise against publicly naming this person Thats the reason it is being done by pm's and also to warn other winners that they may not get their share. From what I have read this person is still posting on this forum....:mad: Anyway this is just my opinion.

No cheques received today:(

I think we also need to give people time, people also have real life issues to deal with,

I know of one person with a desperately ill sister
another was expecting a baby any day

I'm glad I've managed to pay out what I owed, but I will be waiting patiently for my dues

it is a nail biting time tho, money sometimes has an adverse effect on people :-(

lets hope this thread all ends with a happy ending, then we'll all be ploughing into the next comp where we need each other with less trepidation about trusting others :-)
