I was thinking about this comp the other day when I was at work. I needed some of my colleagues to complete a questionnaire for me and to make it easier I gave them written instructions clipped to a reply envelope. Out of the 10 people I passed them out to, only 3 managed to follow the simple instructions correctly.

It got me thinking, McVities are asking members of the public who have just nipped onto their computer in the hope of winning some money to send in certain details....Bear in mind these people will not be used to competitions... What could go wrong next - the possibilities are lots!

To list a few off the top of my head.... Mistyped time codes, date code typed instead of time code, wrapper not sent in at all, bar code cut out and sent in but not time code, illegible handwriting, DOB missing, claim code missing or illegible or upper/lower case typed incorrectly, name/postcode mistyped at entry so does not correspond with name/postcode on claim, wrapper sent in but no paper claim and also, people who think they've won but haven't got an email as it's gone to their spam/junk folder so don't even realise they've to send the wrapper in.

It made me feel quite sorry for the people dealing with the claims. It's not a job i'd like to be doing.
