    Morning all :j

Thanks for starting the thread Candy, and well done Edinburger (sp?) on paying off your overdraft - that moment was a few years ago for me, but I still remember how great it felt :D

Yesterday was my last day at work, which was a bit sad (have been there nearly 5 years), but also a bit of a relief as it has been a stressful nightmare recently

Start new job on Monday

    Today I have / will:

Finish consultancy report, and no more procrastinating (sp?? again - doesn't bode well for report ) This is MS, as I can send a nice big invoice along with it when done :D I'll be glad when it is finished though!!

Clean kitchen that looks like a bombsite

HM meals from garden and stores (my brother who has come for the weekend has just been outside and picked loads of veg)

Look after DD2 who is feeling down due to relationship problems :(

Hopefully collect car from garage - they didn't finish fixing it yesterday

Thats about it for me today, now to get on with that damn report!

Have a nice day everyone :hello:

    Hi all,
sending my thoughts your way today SM on your brother's birthday. I hope you find a special way of honouring him.

T was rather disappointed today to wake up and find his cousin gone. She decided at 10.30 last night that she missed her Mummy too much, bless her. :rotfl:Third time lucky, I hope.

    Today I plan to...

    1) Take the kids to Lymington on the train using free family railcard that runs out today.
    2) May walk to Hurst Castle from there and get in using English Heritage membership.
    3) Take a packed lunch with us.
    4) Sc 10 + 50p
    5) Have done a survey.

Will pop back later and update with what I do do.

Congratulations Edinburger! What a great feeling you must have today. :j

Have a great day everyone - the sun is shining here for once so we are going to make the most of it!

    Morning all!
Not a very DFW day today I'm afraid but its my treat day.
    • Breakfast at home
    • Buy sub of the day for lunch to make it a bit cheaper
    • Going out for dinner to La Tasca tonight using a 50% off voucher with lovely OH
    • Walk dog for free exercise
    • Do one load of washing
    • Check banks - £200 left for the next 2 weeks - includes food shopping and petrol so will have to be careful shopping if I want to do anything else this month! (The big car deposit has left me shorter than normal but I'd rather pay it from salary than dip into the sacred savings!)
    • Do any surveys that come
    • Post letter to wedding venue
    • Find out about possible tax rebate when I finish work
    • Get cash from cashpoint for weekend
    • Text friend to make sure lunch on Sunday is still on
That's it for today - have a good one!

Hi everyone, i have fallen off the bandwagon a bit lately and need to get my head back in full MSE ways. I have decided not to drink until next week, so that should save me some, lol. I seriously need to look for things to ebay and mystery shops and other things to save me and earn me money.
    Today I will
    - finish cleaning the house
    - stay in tonight and maybe watch a film or read my book
    - finish making an album
    - as someone else has said, make a list of christmas presents already bought and ones I need to get, I find they reduce stuff this time of year to make way for the implosion of xmas treats when they kids go back to school, I know I have at least 2 already but will see if there is anything ese in my stash, maybe write a list of what I need to do/make (I have a lovely pattern for the snowman teddy, might make one for DS and nephew, I also make loads of cakes and find sultanas etc cheaper this time of year)
    - hopefully will go for a half price swim using my card
    - send a couple of cheques off for a bill (parking ticket, I contested it but they said no I have to pay it)

OK folks, i am also having pasta for dinner as OH opened some more sauce when one was opened, so using it as to not waste it. I WILL go swimming after lunch and post parking ticket when in town.

Well so far I have checked online banking and done a few clicks as well. Sadly a NSD is not on the cards as it's my turn to buy the coffee at work!

I've just started on this, so forgive me if I sound an idiot

Sort online banking done and set up
    Send DSA application form
Phone up about PIN thing being sent that doesn't work again - have been on hold for 10 minutes finally have a PIN for my card!
Take back jeans to River Island and get in a smaller size (14 not a 16 -hooray!)
Face up to my debts - not too bad (only around £360 but I do need to sort this out)
    ** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **
    ** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
    **SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.
