Has anyone used Ebid?

I'm getting sick of the charges Ebay now charge, it seems to be getting more and more each time so i've done a search with something called Auction Alfie and have seen Ebid.

Has anyone used it? If so what's it like?

It seems cheaper than Ebay.

Lots of sellers who are fed up with ebay, not many buyers. We've sold a grand total of one thing..... they didn't even bother to pay.
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine

I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine. :p

I tried it for a few weeks late last year after getting fed up of eBay fees but got no sales on stuff that did sell on eBay. I think Angstdata is right - you may just double their seller number!

Also, be wary of their fee payment system. I thought when my listings came to a natural end and I had nothing listed at all they would stop charging me their regular fee. They didn't and I got charged £1.99 (or thereabouts) a week for a good 4 weeks before my bank statement turned up and I put a stop to that!

I ended back at eBay, like a a lot of other people have I expect. HTH.
