Can I transfer songs from ipod to computer?

Help! My computer broke down last month and I lost all my data. I have about 250 songs on my ipod and wonder if there is any way of transferring them back onto my computer? I have downloaded a few programmes but these only allow you to transfer 5 at a time (or u have to pay). I just want to save the time and money of having to download them all again. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
