hi, my brother and his son are on holiday in Barcelona at the moment and decided on the spur of the moment to see a game. they had no trouble in getting tickets on the match day at the ticket office and speak not a word of spanish between them so ticket office staff must have been quite helpful. They are still there but due back soon so I will ask if they have any tips on their return.0

Bear in mind that the end of the football season is rapidly approaching - well there is the World Cup so we won't be totally footie-less!
My son has never been to see his beloved Arsenal and I've often thought of taking him to watch 2nd favourite team so would be interested in advice too.Do not allow the risk of failure to stop you trying!0 -
The Nou camp is a magnificent stadium well worth the trip to see.
I have taken my son David there and to the Amsterdam Arena, Old Trafford and the best of all Farrar Road home to Bangor City FC!!0 -
I went there in December for a game. The Nou Camp is an amazing stadium, and you can book tickets in advance on Barcelona's official website - https://www.fcbarcelona.com - that's what we did and we only paid 19 euros per person which was a bargain! You collect the tickets when you arrive at the stadium, and we found the staff at the stadium to be really helpful so don't worry if you can't speak any Spanish/Catalan (we can't!).
As for accomodation, I would very much recommend doing a search on https://www.venere.com - reasonable prices on there with really good maps, reviews and other info - plus, for 4% off, use code: BK5HX8W (and you don't even have to pay in advance!)
Hope all that helps0 -
I concur that the staff speak english, a lot of people doing the tour are non-Spanish/Catalan.
Note what the opening times are on the website, as I arrived within a few minutes of the last tour (they allow you 1 hour from closing time to walk around) which was enough time anyway. The museum part is seperate.
The tour bus stops right outside the ground so is nice and handy if you have a pass for that, otherwise it is easy to get to.****************************0 -

They played the La Liga match against Real Madrid at the Nou Camp two weeks ago on 1 April 2006. So no more matches against them there this season.
Was there during last week of March and confirm tickets easy to get and the ground tour is worth doing, although check whether they do it match days - I think it is only available non match days? Also check when season ends, usually end May or thereabouts.
The ticket office staff all seem to speak enough English to assist.
Enjoy.0
