Hi all,
I recently sold a PSP and the buyer has 0 feedback and did pay but it is an unconfirmed address (however, they have been registered for longer than 30 days).
I didn't specify in the listing that paypal buyers must have a confirmed address but i sent an e-mail today to the buyer kindly pointing out how to confirm and address and that it would benefit us both. Anyway i just wanted to ask am i still ok in asking for a confirmed address even though i didn't specify it or is that irrelevant to it all?

If Paypal say its safe to send it doesnt have to be a confirmed address to send and be covered by paypal. It will say if you are eligible for sellr protection.0

Thanks. Buyer has confirmed the address anyway.0

If the original payment wasn't covered I think you may have to refund and get them to pay again to be covered. I'm pretty sure I've seen that advised on here a few times.0

You're right, but then if PP says it's safe to send, there's really no point.
'Confirming' the address by email wouldn't have made a difference anyway. My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0
