Getting to Leeds-Bradford Airport
Hi,
Got to travel from Durham by rail to get to Leeds-Bradford airport. I'l be getting the train to Leeds or wherever is closer, but can anyone tell me how to get to the airport by public transport and wether Leeds or Bradford rail station is the closest place to get off at? And also if anyone knows how long it takes?
Thanks

The bus for the airport leaves from in front the station

So long as they're not doing any roadworks there (obviously signs will point this out). Ages since I used it but I'd give a conservative estimate of an hour (so you don't miss your flight). They used to accept euros as well as £, and they have a large area for luggage storage.alanrowell wrote: »The bus for the airport leaves from in front the station

I think a bus may also go from Bradford, but you're better off just going to Leeds and getting the bus from there.0 -
Allow an hour by bus, as said by anewman, they are always digging up kirkstall road, and at rush hours its gridlocked.
Personally I would get a cab, as at least if the traffic is parp, they can go via cookridge.
There was talk of extending a train line to LBA, we may just get it around 2030. :rolleyes:0
