rec del not recd query

Hi

Posted something rec delivery and a buyer claims item not recd.

Just checking receipts and 2 from the same post office havent attached the sticky label to show what address it was sent to (i know i should have checked and will now)

Is there a way of finding which is for which address as the receipt just gives me the barcode and not the address/if i call RM will they tell me?

Also this is my first item not recd - if i can prove it was signed for is it down to him or me to resolve?

Hi, there should be a postcode on the receipt aswell as address validated y/n and posted before last post y/n. Maybe try putting the tracking number into RM track & trace and see if it says attempted delivery/delivered from whatever office, might give you a clue to the location.

Yeah i know from other receipts there is a postcode - but on this none.

I checked online already which shows this receipt is delivered (as i say i dont know which is which) however to add intrigue it shows that this item was redirected..........

well if it shows as directed you may want to let the buyer know
and remind them it will cause delays

well today i called RM and they have confirmed the receipt i have is indeed the one to this buyer.

As such i know that "someone" signed for the item at his address.

Ive emailed him today advising. If he comes back what do i do now - is it now his or y responsibility to sort with RM/do i still have to refund and claim myself?!

the address in paypal or his redirected address?

well i dont know.

I posted it to his registered address - on RM it states it was redirected, but not to where. I presume it is either a redirection the buyer has set up or RM have messed up?

well if it scans as redirected then that happens at the delivery office
maybe worth ringing that delivery office and getting them to do an audit trail track on the item.
this shows every scan the item has had
