Oh financesofa5yrold LOL enjoyed your post! I got a Readycash account with Yorkie bank and before going in to apply for the account, I sent Experian a copy of discharge.
The adviser, who I got was very pleasent said she would have to ring the credit bureau (Experian) to have then confirm I was discharged. The account was opened there and then, account and sort code given.
Let us know how you get on:p
Oh yes you get a proper Maestro card with the Readycash and full internet banking.0 -
Nice one. Banks have my deepest sympathy. One of my last visits I encountered a fairy godmother ( yes that's she called herself) having only went in for a £10,000 cash injection ( a new shining car for the biz) she waved her magic wand and I came out with £25,000. The call then came. What do you think of your new business manager? etc, 15 minutes later after the usual , good , very good, pretty good. satisfied, unsatisfied, and so on and so on, I had to say promote her.
Needless to say, this is the last time anyone heard of her again. Her name? Well it had to Margaret, the one name that still strikes terror to this day. So be careful out there. sleep tight don't let the fairies bite;)Better to be poor than a slave to wealth

FOAFYO, have you taken the old Bentley for a spin down to 'Barclaws' yet? I am sure that I am not the only one eagerly awaiting the next installment of the modern day Bertie Worcester saga. Tallyho, old boy and bottoms up, haw, haw!0
