Financial Hardship cases

I am single and only get £110 from benefits every 2 weeks. which is soon to be stopped.
According to the financial ombudsman who i have been in contact with i qualify for financial hardship.
excellent i thought.

i have tried to contact my bank and tell them they cant hold my claim for return of my bank charges due to this, but they still refuse to deal with it.

what can i do from here? i have tried calling and sending letters, but the bank are just being very unhelpful.

any help would be greatly appeciated.

PS: my bank is natwest is thats of any help.

  • sorry my memory and words are jumbled
they did send me the form, i filled it in, they returned a letter saying i dont qualify.
    i contacted the ombudsman next.
they say i do qualify and so they contacted my bank asking why i was refused.
    bank gave their reasons
ombudsman agreed with the bank and closed my ombudsman claim but also told me i do qualify hardship due to not being ale to afford rent/going to be made homeless/constantly being hounded by debt collection agencies/ my current account constantly in the red, and soon to have no income whatsoever.

i dont know where to go from here apart from asking the bank for another hardship form.

    What were the reasons?
Do you still use the account?
Do you have priority debt arrears(mortgage/rent, council tax, utilities)?
