Liveplayer ads

I installed this app called liveplayer which is ad supported. After i uninstalled it, im still getiing popup ads from the software. I have tried, spybot, registry mechanic and spyware doctor to remove these ads but nothing has worked. How can i get rid of these annoying popups for good.

Did you remove both the LivePlayer and Favorit applications via Add/Remove programs?
If you leave the latter in place you will continue to get ads.0 -
