SOA Parking fines help please
Comments

I dont have much sympathy with the amount of parking fines to be truthful with you - if you get ticketted then appeal but dont just ignore them. Also one would have thought that she would have learnt after the first ticket not to park illegally,
I would say get rid of the clothing for 6 months or so, nails a quick file and polish can be done quite cheaply at home, hair cuts can be halved or she needs to find a salon where they have trainees and get her hair done with a trainee for a lot less.
Nothing has been listed for groceries - doesnt she eat?
She needs to keep a spending diary and address the parking tickets.0 -
Firstly, stop parking illegally! She has to be a bit daft to let parking fines get to this level and she needs to work out why she is getting them and stop getting anymore. She also needs to understand that the cheapest way to deal with them is to pay immediately when they are still £60 or whatever not wait for them to add legal fees.
But she "seems" to have adequate funds to pay them off quickly and room in the budget for economies. I suspect she isn't being honest with herself and is in fact spending a lot more which is where a spending diary comes in.
Often a spending diary discourages you from actually spending in the first place a bit like a food diary, and if she has got a debt to pay it shouldn't be a big deal to cut out clothes spending stop having her nails done and stretch out a bit longer between hair cuts and use a trainee until she is back on the level again.0 -
Hi, thank you for the replies. I'll forward these on for to her to look and go through on Monday0
