BG Click Energy - New Metres but no update to metre readings.
Ok heres my story. I was initiall ypaying about £50pm combined for Gas and Electric which was fine until my gf spent the winter at home with our new born babe. We racked up such a debit that our monthly cost went up to £203pm combined. We have now paid off the debit and in credit and pay approx £60 pm for each Gas and Electric. However my gf is back at work and the avergaes they are using wont be accurate moving forward.
I am looking to hopeully bring it down to £40-£45 pm for each. However we have recently (2-3m ago) had new metres fitted for both Gas and Electric. When I phone them up to ask them to drop the price they say they need up to date readings. I cant because they dont have the information of the new metres and we must wait for the info to filter through.
Has anyone else had this problem and how long does it take for them to udate your details. I am happy to put regular meter readins online but can not do this.

If they do not have the new meter details give them a call with the meter serial numbers and readings. Also give any info left by engineers with readings from the old and new meters when they were removed and installed.
If this is not yet being actioned by the Customer Escalation Team request to be put through to them. It is their job to find out why the info is not on BG's systems and to update them.Self Employed, Running my Dream Jobs0
