Hi all
I've just started down the long road of applying for an IVA. Managed to get in touch with two different companies....Payplan and ThinkMoney who I believe also go under the name Gregory Pennington?? I've seen lots of good comments about Payplan but does anybody have any opinion of Gregory Pennington? They seemed VERY pushy to me whereas Payplan were totally the opposite.
I filled out SOAs for both, Gregory Pennington want £256 a month from me to clear a £34k debt and I'm still waiting for Payplan to get back to me with their figures. If it works out more than that then I'm likely to go with Gregory Pennington unless somebody has any horror stories regarding their services?
The other thing I've done is set up a managed bank account to avoid any unpaid DD charges or unauthorised OD fees, has anybody else got any experience of these?
It feels like there's a long hard slog ahead but it's nice to know that there's a light at the end of the tunnel be it very small and not very noticeable at the moment!!

I finished my £55k IVA after 5 years in May 2008, and I've just got a v.good mortgage deal with Britannia for a £200k house @ 90% LTV. Britannia are one of the more conservative lenders too. So there is light at the end of the tunnel for those who have gone down the IVA route.0
