What were your specific problems with the clauses in the tenancy agreement? Or was it just that your landlord didn't understand his responsibilities in it?0

If you don't like a given landlord, or indeed the terms in the TA, you just move on...I don't see that as a big deal?0

What did you query about the contract that he wasn't able to help you with?
No offence, but your posting hasn't given any information at all about what was the issue with the contract, or the landlord or what you felt needed querying

I have to agree with WW that your posting lacks information (and therefore a point), but it has been written in a very pretty, poetic manner. my old English teacher would have given this a B for effort

Yeah, I had to check the OP to see whether it were a haiku or not

Well my boyfriend had many problems with an agency he rented from so it's not always the case.
It is your responsibility to understand your contract, if the LL doesn't understand it more fool him/her!!0 -
Our agency is terrible. My landlady is brilliant. Im really pleased I have direct contact with her as the agency are useless & deceitful. Myself & Landlady just text or phone each other if thats any concerns or questions.
The agency even tried to charge her a couple of hundreds of pounds for a service they said that they had provided & didnt. It was a renewal of tenancy which we didnt respond to & went straight into a periodical tenancy (we obviously discussed our intentions direct with LL). Lucky we had direct contact as I put her straight & she didnt pay their fee.0
