ok so b4 i even start i would need to spend £5 in 2 seperate transactions in order to get the 2 £5 off vouchers.
So the short of it is...... I would need to spend £10 in order to get x2 £5 off vouchers. And even then, it might no work if the sa has been told no from head office
if you have any self service tills near you, try wombling a few £5.00 off vouchers.
My tip is to go in on a sat/busy day at around lunch.
use self service tills for something little like chewing gum,
the till will generally shoot your reciept at the floor where there is often a huge pile of other peoples reciepts and £5.00 off vouchers that they couldn't be bothered to pick up,
look confused as you don't know which receipt is yours and take the whole lot!0 -

Well, not quite! If you look at my post number 25, I've explained how to get the vouchers in the first place, and, if the worst came to the worst, you could still spend your 2 x £5 vouchers on 2 separate Olay or Time Delay items. Each time, you'd be given another £5 voucher, though you would only have spent pence (that's the way the tills are set up this time), so you could just carry on buying the stuff.
I only ever "spend" to get vouchers, on items that I need in the first place, like boring things e.g. toothepaste, deodorant, corn pads etc!
A lot of Bootsing depends on the SA, but I seem to remember at the front of the Old Grabbit Threads, posted by Crazy Posh Gal (hope things are OK CPG), there was a question and answer section.
One of the questions was something like "am I allowed to use more than one voucher in each transaction" and the answer was "yes". Of course, things may well have changed, and SAs can differ from store to store, and within the same store.
If I'm ever refused a transaction, I usually ask "could you please try for me", but if they refuse, then just let it go. There'll be another glitch round the corner, we hope! Good Luck anyway. HTH

My local Boots store doesn't even have an ACM :0(
I feel like I'm losing out on all the promotions and special offers.
Soooo not fair
:mad::mad::mad:
Commiserations, sammiedoodle (love your name!), my local doesn't have an ACM either, but there are still great bargains to be had with the £5 voucher. :T But I know it's rotten when you can't get the ACM vouchers.
The Boots "sessions" usually last for 4 weeks - the current one finishes on Tuesday 11th August and the new one starts the next day. If you saw a promotion that appeals, is there any way you could take a trip once a month to the nearest store with an ACM?
Bootsers are very helpful and if you gave your general area, I'm sure someone would PM you with details of your nearest applicable store.

Have found the Old Grabbit Post and the following appears in the Frequently Asked Questions section:-
Can I use more than one voucher per transaction?
Yes! The official word from customer services is
"I can confirm that you are able to use more than one voucher at a time per transaction. Our tills are programmed to ensure you receive the best offer available.
There is a limit to how many vouchers you can use, but this depends upon the offers you have received and the voucher."

lol! that makes it clearer??
I don't understand the 2nd bit, does this mean they can just make it up as they go along and decide when you can use more than one?
I always thought it was only more than one if they were different types of voucher:
£5.00 off, acm points voucher and a pampers money off for example
Grrr! am annoyed that i was refused now, might try again tomorrow, hopefully will get saturday staff!!0 -
I used my 4x£5 skinnys today. Spent £20 on many bargain bits and got another one. Used all 5 today on the ranges on offer and didn't get anymore.
There was hardly any cheap Olay washes left and cheaper Time Delay ranges too.
Cheaper for me to get rid of them and no more to replace as I have had about 15 this month in total!
Also L'Oreal Dermaq Cleanser (green one and white one) were on clearence in the shelf and in the clearence section there were some half priced NAKED. I got a shower scrub tube half price for £2.
Shouldn't need anymore make up removers now for about 3yrs so a good job I don't have any more skinnys!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550
