I've just been quoted £5k for a brick fence 25ft long and 6ft high in North East Lincs is this the going rate? What should i expect?

Sounds Very expensive. Should be about 1300 bricks (double up for a 9" wall), that cost about £400 per 1000, plus sand and cement. This should take a couple of days to put up.
If they have to dig footings, they may have to hire a mini digger (£100), get a skip (£130) and fill with concrete plus another days labour.(".)0 -
