Now the only problem I have is working out if I need a full or interim service. Looked in the service book but it doesn't help!

    Here's the difference

Thanks for that; but it's more of a case of which one I HAVE to do according to Audi to keep up the FSH. Will pop down the local Audi garage and check with them.

Obviously would rather do the interim one as a lot cheaper :rotfl:

The trouble is not knowing who they intend to use, the booking is done blind (i.e. no details about the garage)

did an online quote for an 02 Zafira, full service for £180, my local garage quoted £260

Full service and MOT at Kwik Fit was £159 this week (prices online - save another £5 if booking online) - I couldn't find any voucher codes etc but when you pay, they give you a voucher for 20% off servicing - not much use after the fact but if there is a way to wangle one up front then you would be in business. Vauxhall dealer wanted £209, local garage wanted £170+VAT + £45 MOT.

Use 'Google' in the promo code to get 10% off NSN bookings.

I searched on google for 'audi service' and clicked through and it had filled in 'Google' in the promotion code field so I'm sure it'll work for anyone.
  • do you know what kind of service you get from NSN? the price for your audi it's sound very cheep to me!! :)
  • cheap ? id say that a lot if its just a basci service

Which isn't to the manufacturer's schedule and I've been told no longer includes an air filter (it used to be £69 and did...). Can have an oil change done for a lot less than £75 :rotfl:

I'm lead to believe services at the likes of NSN are good enough to satisfy the servicing criteria for maintaining a car's warranty (assuming you have a full/interim service performed as appropriate), am I right?

Don't know the answer to that one but personally I wouldn't dream of using anyone other than the dealer network whilst my car was in warranty, particularly when you get benefits such as free breakdown cover, getting any manufacturer service notices dealt with, and the fact that when you come to sell it will have the sought after dealer FSH.

Depends who owns the car - if it was acceptable to a lease firm then it'd go there :rotfl:
