a YEAR bunny? that is such a long time - they must get a big drop out rate of people who decide to do something else, move, get pregnant, have a change in circumstances etc which means they don't take up the place - that's a mad amount of time!

Maz, sounds like you had a good time! Enjoy the weekend, wish I could go.
Inky glad the hospital went ok.
Ric, I thought about opening a business a few months ago (a manic moment!) till I looked at the cost of premises! A small shop like yours sounds good though.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
I also looked at having a shop after being made redundant, but the initial cost was huge to get the premises themselves.

Do any of you list on amazon? What do you charge for books? I was going to do a car boot sale with the 100 or so I've got to get rid of, but having posted on the ebay board it seems they'll only go for pence. By the time I've paid the entrance fee and bought a paste table to put them on I could end up out of pocket, so I'm thinking amazon is a better idea. I've bought books on there for 1p or 10p, but the postage rates are pretty decent. And with what I'd have spent on the car boot fee I can get a couple of stackable boxes to store them in so they're out of the way.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
