Nope... although you've just reminded me I need to look at the Housing Benefit stuff again as I think I might be eligible for that and that would let me have free courses too.. did check the calculator before and seemed to be eligible for something but was put off by the massive form to fill inDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
ta bun.....it's really down to the other candidates. I could be naughty and say that I don't think either of the other 2 today would be right (knowing their current role etc) but that makes me sound a bit big headed
when I wouldn't be meaning to as I don't know their full work history. I haven't a clue who is been seen Monday, but i'll be checking the electronic diaries tomorrow

well, perhaps the idea of 2 courses being affordable rather than 1 is a good incentive to wield the pen and fill in the formIf either course is accredited (ie leads to a nationally recognised qualification) and you earn roughly under 15k, you might get it all paid depending on the pot of money they have for this as long as you are on benefits of some kind.

It's not big headed BB, eing confident in your abilities is realistic.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0

I have to say Bun, it's a good job I really prepared well. Apart from 1 question of 'what can you bring to the job' it was all specific stuff about how you'd do x, y and z in the role, so I'm glad I spent some time really thinking about it, making notes and re-reading them to make sure I had all the right terminology etc (even if most of it was management speak bollox!!)

The ability to talk management speak bollox can get you a long wayDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
shame about the benefits squizz
I can write management bollox all day. I find talking it off the cuff much harder. My ideal interview would be to know the questions beforehand, write a report and present it on powerpoint - I can do that - I'm not very good at just winging it!!"Stay Wonky":D
