hmm..
download the soundtrack?
seriously though.. you could use a ripper like DivX making sure you tell it not to delete the files created in the process (it puts them in a folder while it is ripping..) then take the audio file created and put it on a cd..
erm or you could play the songs you want and use a WAV recorder to record what is played by the DVD and then put the file recorded on the cd - to do this look at "cassette to cd" thread but instead of recording the "line in" you need to record "what you hear" (well that's what they call it on creative sound cards.. not sure what it's called on other programs..)0 -
There are various DVD rippers available - have a look here - obviously these "rippers" must only be used for legitimate reasons, such as your current question.
Have a look around that site and you'll see various tools for ripping soundtracks off a dvd - there's also a forum if you get stuck.
Basically you need to strip the soundtrack into MP3's and then burn them as normal onto a CD-R.

DIVx works well in my experience - and it's free :beer:0

What is it?

It's something to do with video compression.
Have a look at this - http://www.divxmovies.com/info/“When the customer comes first, the customer will last”0 -
