fruit pastille cake does sound tasty....is it easy to make?

I just put half a caseful of plain fairy cake mixture into the case, then added a sweet and put another dollup of mixture on top. The sweets dropped to the bottom though so might just put them on top next time. Tasted lovely but made it stick to the bottom of the cases. Nobody else seemed to mind.

An expensive day for me, had two birthday presents to get and I also ventured into a supermarket but I didn't buy anything for me, so quite good really (oh apart from a packet of refreshers!) I also kept to sensible budgets for the pressies.

Managed to do the baking as planned. Made some Twinks with jelly beans thrown in but I forgot to account for the extra sugar so they burnt a little. Not that anybody here has moaned about it - half have been devoured already.

Spent the rest of the day dealing with my new work stuff which was a bit of a bore but I'm glad it's done now so I can laze about and enjoy tomorrow;)
