I'm on DS's computer and the pound sign is giving me # symbol- any ideas anyone?! Also the Quotation marks are giving me @ and the 'at' sign is giving me quotation marks (so they have swapped themselves around...!)

    xx

ps- I can do the Sept thread (where has this year gone?!) as well or just help you out Jesa etc. Can't always offer due to not having much net access during the month or whatever, so always like to offer when I know I'll be able to do it! xx

Have you got num lock on? Or possibly something similar but I cannot remember what its called - maybe shift lock. If you restart it should right itself.

You can do the thread instead if you want to sweetpeas - I might be away one weekend during Sept so it would probably be better if the person running it was here the whole time. Its up to you:D

    Today I have made:
£2 GFK win (converted to Amazon vouchers)
£9.24 Amazon sale for a 7" vinyl from my teens
    £6.07 Ebay sale
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155

Ok, I'm well over my target this month!! I've been lucky, but I have also put the effort in this month.

Had to adjust ebay sales that I added earlier, cos forgot to minus the final value fees, but with that adjusted, got £322.18 from ebay sale, £2.89 from amazon sale, £25 for the canvases.

    Grand total £380.28!!!! :D:D:D

Just requested a £12 voucher from Toluna and £25 from Pure Profile but they are unlikely to arrive until next month! A good start for Sept but not helping me reach my target this month

I printed up my first two Walkers 2 for 1 meal vouchers but won't be using them until Sept so will work out the savings then. Cancelled booking at expensive hotel for wedding in favour of Travelodge special offer. £10 saving per night for pre booking and £15 saving per night on changing place to stay. So massive saving of £50!

Saved £3.50 delivery fee from Mr A too. I got DSs to do my shopping whilst they are in town. I won't add it until they are back here with shopping in case they add extras to my list!!

I just saved 3p per litre on heating oil by haggling over the price. I have saved £26 overall!
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

    Thanks glitterjunkie.

My heads all over the place at the moment, I know it's going to take a while to get it sorted (my head and my debt ) I'm just so fed up of it all :o

Anyhoo, moneywise things have levelled out a bit - I was freaking out about being able to pay all the bills, but I'm going to manage (just!) with about £15 left of my overdraft - roll on next month! Major fingers crossed I get accepted for the 0% card applied for.

Enough off topic from me - Money wise I've not made anything else, buyer in US hasn't paid so I've had to open a npb, still no reaction so I doubt I'll see anything for that, and buyer in France hasn't paid up yet, but it's only been a couple of days and they've bought from me before so here's hoping.

Was clearing out the boyfriends change jars yesterday, turned out he had just under £20 in change and a rake of foreign coins from his previous job. Going to get the euros listed on ebay tonight (thanks to here I found out that they sell!)

Right, major post SORRY! I'd better get some work done :o

  • The money's finally hit my account from the ds game I sold on Amazon so thats another £12.75 to add to the pot. That brings my total up to £117.55 so far this month...not bad for a late starter! Fingers crossed a few of my things on Ebay will sell too.

Sounds like your computer thinks you have a US keyboard installed, rather than a UK one. Try changing it via the Regional and Language Options dialog box in the Control Panel.
