As with all previous government schemes, 80% of the money will be sunk in 'admin' as scam training companies are set-up to trouser the cash. I expect all those bogus 'universities' that were handing out visas will quickly re-appear as dance studies (still a couple of rooms over a chippie)

Actually what todays yoofs need is some discipline, I feel the time is right to bring back National Service, on a sliding scale for the unwaged depending on their qualifications-

No qualifications - three years national service
GCSEs - 18 months
A-levels - 12 months
Degree (silly subject/former Poly) - 12 months
Degree (science/proper Uni) - 6 months

We'll need some people dancing around dressed in solar panels (no use other than clothing for the bloody things unless we can kickstart global warming) for the Olympic opening ceremony. I'm all for it personally.
