Question about store card charge

I have received a £12 charge on my store card for paying £10 instead of £11, my mistake I know but was a little annoyed that I got a £12 charge for the sake of £1.

Anyway it says on my bill that the charge is for a late payment even though I made the £10 payment in time.

Is there anything I can do to try and get the charge refunded as it is down as a late payment rather than not meeting the minimum payment?

    It was late though.

Appealing to their better nature as suggested is your only real option

I thought that might be the case, at the end of the day it was my own silly fault for not thinking.

    Thanks any way :)
