Got mine on Saturday (and I'm still trying to understand the Mortgage Endowment Promise, though I think the subtext is 'you're screwed').
Got 385 shares, on a WP endowment taken out in 1994, for £47,500, paying £67.08 a month. (Yes, it's underperforming though I can't remember exactly what the figures are - too painful to dwell on.)
I've voted yes but my confidence in Standard Life is now such that I will probably sell the shares asap and put the money somewhere safer - nice sock under the bed perhaps.0 -

It's not changed. Just that they are quantifying it in terms of figures.MFW 2015 #41 = £20,515/£20,515
MFW 2014 #41 = £26,100/£25,000
MFW 2013 #41 = £10,000/£10,000

Standard Life's adviser docs tend to be a bit more digestable than the client ones and that seems to be the case with their voting proposal.
Their adviser site has some good concise guides including their 'Adviser Factcard 3' which summarises the pack in 4 pages. Worth a look if you're a bit lost by the length of the 'proposal for members'.
You'll find it here:

-)HELP I'm really confused??
I have a WP Endownment for £80K taken out in 1996 and pay £141 per month, it currently is underperforming with an expected payout of £55K, but I have only been given the basic allocation of 185 shares? Having read the above posts others seem to have done a lot better with their share allocation.
Can anyone shed any light on why this maybe?

By the sounds of it you should be getting a variable element. If your share allocation statement does indeed show just the 185 shares then give them a call to find out why. If it's a straight forward WP endowment then you should have more than that.

What is the current share price.
I was issued with 643. Did I do right to hold onto them or should I sell?~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)
