italy villa's

hi all
my partner and i are looking at having our wedding in italy next june or september 2007 and want to rent a large villa which must sleep 14/16 but ideally could fit up to 20/22 or more if the price was right. we are looking at tuscany (coastline probably) or almalfi (again coastline prob) due to proximity to where cheap flights go. ideally the property would be split into 3/4 parts but it would be okay if it was whole. villa's/holiday purpose built/farmhouses/barns/small hotels - very flexible as to where we go. ideally we would like to be not too far out of a town/resort so that car hire isn't essential but again that isn't a pre-requisite.
i have been on some of the wedding websites and the villa rates are very over inflated. i've looked on https://www.villarama.com and also 'owners direct' website and have found some better deals than holiday websites.
can anyone point me in the direction of good websites to book villa's that are reasonable (at the most we would be wanting to pay £1500 for the whole villa for a week, i have seen some that are less than £1000). if anyone knows of anywhere in particular that springs to mind as being ideal then that would be great.
if anyone has got married in italy and has any info/pointers on tips/websites i would really appreciate that (i am going to post this question in the marriage board later tonight).
thanks in advance
claire
