    gooooooooood morning campers! :D
    it's Friday :D:D:D:D
I woke up stupidly early as the lure of the new lens called.. didn't play too much, just a few shots out the window but already I can tell it's a beauty and am SO pleased I spent the money on it (I hardly spend anything on myself, seriously. its how I've managed to accumulate the most savings in my friendship group despite others being in some places on 10k more than me ;) ) anyway.... yes! very happy :D
won about 30 quid on bingo last night so I'm happy, thats paid for the random splurges on Monday :rotfl:
stupidly, for the first time in ages, I wore heels to work. I'm a flats person, but I figured I'd try them again. I live a 15-20 minute walk from work... ouch. my little toes hurt :( and are glowing a nice shade of red... darnit!

    lots of luck to all!

    Hi Gemma,

Hope you don't mind me asking but, did you have the standard 18-55mm lens with your D60 and if so why did you go for the 18-105mm?
I've got a D80 with the 18-55 and have been looking at THIS 55-200mm if I can convince myself to spend so much. Without VR its about £15-18 cheaper but the VR is supposed to be brilliant with the longer focal distances. I would then have the full range from 18-200mm in two lenses although I think the 55-200 would become my main lens.

    heya :D
I did indeed (and still do) have the 18-55mm and it was the VR version. Personally I don't really need a telephoto lens but take a lot of shots of friends and closeup wildlife, so decided to expand upon what I've got and go from about 3.8x zoom to about 5.6x - it just fitted my style more than the telephoto 55-200 would do :) I must admit, I nearly went for the 55-200, especially the VR lens as that's a must for me, but on the day, the shorter one suited me more (plus I HATE changing the lens :rotfl:)
I just realised thats a big bundle of babble.. hmm. I guess it depends on what you shoot the most :) but the VR? totally worth the extra splash of cash I'd say :D

I'm ok hun, got my AS results yesterday :D and health wise I'm doing ok, have started to sleep now, :) I asked if you had any problems with your teeth at all, just trying to ascertain if all these problems with bones and joints affect your teeth too - wierd i know lol sorry. Although if I consumed dairy it would probably help lol.
