Luggage storage in London

Hi everyone
My OH and I are in London next week and we need somewhere to store our luggage from around 10am until 5pm on Friday.
We're staying at a Travelodge on Thursday night, but they say they don't store luggage so we need somewhere to put ours during the day on Friday, before we pick it up and go and stay with relatives on Friday night.
Would the railway stations be the best bet? And how much would they charge for 2 pieces of luggage?
Thanks

Hi there, I have been looking into this as we are staying in London for 2 nights in a cpl of weeks. I know at Euston Station they charge £6.50 per item. Luckily our hotel has a concierge (well it is the Hilton!) and we can leave our bags there. BTW got the Hilton on a money saving offer!
Hope that helps

Hi It is now £8.50 per bag at Euston and other mainline stations that have left luggage. Its a real pain I understand the need for security but Its so expensive! Also a pain Travelodge wont store baggage as other hotels do and they could make some oney from this like maybe £3 per bag per day?
I do use Euston sometimes as hate going round London with bags but my other option Ive used before is the museums - they have left luggage but this is meant for people who are staying in the museum not going off round London! If I stay at the Covent garden tralelodge I do use the museum left luggage which is £1 and have been out of the museum then collected it later.
Dont think Debenhams have left luggage in London - if Im in Birmingham I use the gold lounge as they have free lockers, not tried the one on Oxford Street.
Wonder if the coach station at Victoria has left lugage?Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

The Science Museum I think is about the cheapest. One pound if I remember right.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0

It does. See here.
And it appears cheaper than the rail station prices mentioned above.
Thanks you saved me looking! Il use that when I come back from Brighton next month and have an afternoon in London - know Il be at Euston finally but Its only a few stops on the tube to collect the case. Anything has to beat the £8.50 fee at Euston!
Yes the science museum/natural history museum/british museum all charge £1 for the cloakroom.Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

Thanks alisont and KeithP. These will be a very useful way of getting an extra day out of London without having to stay the night.
