Would like to get some thoughts on a quote I just received for my bathroom renovation. Room dimensions – L 2.4m, W 1.2m, H 2.4 m.
I am supplying the following;
Bath
Basin with vanity
WC with concealed cistern
Combi boiler fed Bath/shower mixer tap
Basin mixer tap
Bath waste
Wall and floor tiles
Quote I received is £1725 including VAT and materials, based on 6 days of labour. I’m in Glasgow BTW.
Quote includes;
Removing excess plaster
Installing plaster sheeting to 2 walls
Removing false wall
Boxing off concealed cistern with hinged panel for access
Removal of electric shower
Remove and replace bathroom suite
Custom made bath panel (to be tiled)
16m2 wall tiles
3m2 floor
Disposal of old suite and rubble
Thanks in advance for any opinions/advice!

It doesn't seem bad to me, but the main unknown is the quality / price of the tiles being supplied.
There's plenty of work there for 6 days.
Labour should be in the region of £120 to £160 per person per day for me to known if it's reasonable when employing tradesmen.0
