LOL. I thought someone had replied to say already posted, but when I read your post, I looked at the Norwegian response and thought ? then read further and found it really funny.
Initially, I thought someone was trying to reply in Doric - our regional dialect, but realised Norwegian by time got to Jeg.Invented tradition: Couponology

Well, whoever the lucky person is to win this competition, they might find out more of the influence of the Norse of the Vikings on language similarities.
There are similarities between Scots and German and Scots and Norwegian.
Fall into the category of Germanic languages.
